Port Arthur

Port Arthur is famous for it's convict past, being home to a 19th-century penal settlement. The Settlement now operates as an open-air museum, with a collection of ruins, restored buildings and historical sites.

Port Arthur is also an ideal location to explore further along Tasmania's rugged south-east coast, with towering rock formations, and Tasman Island.
