Nouméa

Located at the south-west of New Caledonia, Nouméa is the capital of the country, a French territory. Noumea is a tropical paradise, and outside of the city centre are beautiful bays of crystal blue water, with abundant wildlife, perfect for snorkeling. Nouméa provides a launching place to explore some of the close-by islands including Duck Island, and the well known Amédée Lighthouse. Travel around the CBD is easy with an array of options for cruisers to choose from including a hop-on / hop-off bus, Tchou Train, and other private tour operators leaving from the Nouméa Cruise Centre.
