If you are cruising from Melbourne, there is no long-term parking at Station Pier. Ace Parking offers long term parking a short 10 minute walk from the dock. Parking cannot be pre-booked, and is on a first come/first serve basis.

PTV runs Melbourne's public transport network of trams, train and buses.

The 109 Port Melbourne to Box Hill tram departs from Station Pier and travels directly into the Central Business District.

Travel on Melbourne transport is through a 'myki'. Myki's can be purchased at most convenience stores, and at the tourist information desk when departing the ship at Station Pier. You can also setup a Myki on the GooglePay app rather than using a physical card.

Trams travelling within the heart of the Central Business district are free, and do not require you to have a Myki.

If you are craving a perfect cup of coffee as soon as you dock in Melbourne, don't worry because you don't need to travel far. Bella Cosi is located about a 5 minute walk from Station Pier and is the perfect place to start your day in Melbourne with coffee and good hearty food in this family run Cafe. Note that it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

If you are after a relaxing day to explore shops and enjoy a choice or restaurants and cafes, take the ferry to Williamstown. It docks right next to the main strip of shops and is very accessible.
