Its the day of your cruise, you arrive in Sydney nice and early, drop off your luggage at the terminal - now what to do? We asked cruise fans on Facebook for their recommendations and here is what they suggested to us!
Things to see
Beautiful botanic gardens in the hear of Sydney, within easy walking distance of the Sydney Overseas Passenger terminal, Circular Quay and the opera house.
Things to see
World famous landmark Bridge connecting the north and south of Sydney Harbour. There are paid experiences for climbing the bridge, but there is a free pedestrian path that spans the length of the bridge you can do for free. There is also a paid option to climb one of the bridge pylons.
Places to Eat

Opera Bar hosts casual dining, located beneath the world-famous Sydney Opera House.

Opera Bar is the perfect location to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee while enjoying views across Sydney Harbour looking toward the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park, and the Overseas passenger terminal where many cruise ships dock.

Casual cafe offering light meals, coffee and breakfast. Located close to the Sydney Ferry's, Circular Quay Station, and the Overseas Passenger Terminal, this is the idea location to enjoy breakfast after dropping off your luggage before boarding your cruise.

Modern art museum. Also includes a rooftop cafe with panoramic views across Circular Quay.

Harbor side amusement park featuring rides and attractions. Enter via the iconic Luna Park face. Easy access from Milsons Point ferry terminal, with ferrys connecting directly to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.
Things to see
Previously known as Centrepoint Tower and AMP Tower, Sydney Tower is Sydneys tallest building. The tower includes an observation deck and Australia tallest sky walk. Tickets are cheaper if purchased online in advance of the day you wish to visit.

Iconic beach located less than 10km from the Sydney CBD. You can catch either a bus or train directly from the CBD to Bondi.
Things to see
Take an adrenaline pumping 30 minute ride on a jet boat in the iconic Sydney Harbour. See the Opera House, Taronga Zoo, Harbour mansions and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Things to see
District of historic laneways with shops, pubs and cafes located beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Explore its laneways and stair cases, and find a drink and something to eat along the way.
