Like most other cruise lines, Carnival Cruises offer a couple of options for 'beverage packages' that you can buy to eliminate bill-shock at the end of your cruise. Whether these packages are worth it or not will differ for each passenger based on their daily consumption.
The 2 main packages available on Carnival include:
- Cheers Package (alcoholic drinks package)
- Bottomless Bubbles (a softdrink package)
Cheers Package
The Cheers package is only available on cruises of 7 or more days. This package includes all your basic alcoholic beverages including spirits, beer, wine, and cocktails up to the value of $20 (AU).
The package also covers your non-alcoholic refreshments such as soft drinks, mocktails, energy drinks, and bottled water.
Not Included:
Drinks sold in souvenir cups, bottles of liquor, room service drinks, fresh juices, and specialty tea/coffee
Important things to know
- Everyone over the age of 18 in the cabin must also purchase the Cheers package
- You can only order 1 drink at a time - and cannot share your drinks
- You are limited to 15 alcoholic drinks a day. You cannot pay for additional drinks after the 15.
- Any bottles or cans you buy will be served opened.
