Cockatoo Island

UNESCO heritage site in Sydney Harbour. Over its long history the island has been home to a convict penal establishment, and one of Australia's biggest shipyards.

There is a number of historical buildings to explore across the island.

Cockatoo Island is accessible by ferry. The number 3 and number 8 ferries both stop at Cockatoo Island (departing from Circular Quay).
